Game at Kristos Olive Oil

Ready for the next cooking class at Kristos Olive Oil?

Game on. No really, game on: Duck and Elk primarily. And chocolate, does chocolate count as game?

The Menu for October 23, 2013




Duck Confit: Shredded pieces of duck heated in olive oil and then topped with a spicy, pickled white raisin sauce. Served on pieces of corn bread.


Elk Sliders in a Peppercorn Balsamic Sauce:

Lightly seared elk that has marinated in olive oil and garlic is topped with a green peppercorn, balsamic reduction.


Creamy Olive Oil Mashed Potatoes: Potatoes with a peppery hint of olive oil.


Pumpkin Sausage Soup: Fresh pumpkin pureed with herbs and spices, elk sausage, a drizzle of cream and topped with another drizzle of balsamic vinegar.


Flourless Chocolate Torte: Dark, rich, chocolate, a hint of orange and topped with a balsamic berry compote.
